At Hess Mediation, we work to contain the emotions typically involved in disputes, especially those which have reached the point of litigation. Our role is to serve as an independent, unbiased partner in the process. We examine not only each person's position in the dispute but also their underlying interests. In this way we can help the disputants to at least understand one another's viewpoint as a first step toward resolution.
